Highly recommend Omnigraffle for functional specs / wireframes. You can just move UI around so much faster in a wireframing / diagramming paradigm. Gimp / Phot

Highly recommend Omnigraffle for functional specs / wireframes. You can just move UI around so much faster in a wireframing / diagramming paradigm.
Gimp / Photoshop is good for the visual design phase of things. This is really the way to get to the next level of polish.
