Fly from NYC to London for $4000 in uber lux first class aboard a spacious, comfortable 787 or A380. Or spend 5x that to get there in half the time aboard a cramped super sonic jet. I don’t get it. If you make existing planes nicer, people will complain that the ride is too short. And it will be much, much cheaper.
