One thing comes to mind is that people making $10M+ have a lot more to lose and might benefit more from the safety that the defense budget provides.
- hirundo 8y agoThat applies to the proportional part of the tax but not to the progressive part. As you go up in tax bracket from 10% to 37% you get less protection per dollar of earnings protected.
