No. The Senate was created via legislation, you can't legislate it away. You'd have to amend the constitution.

- AnimalMuppet 8y agoThe article was talking about a bill that (theoretically) would restructure the Senate without having to amend the Constitution. Even were that possible (about which I have doubts), my comment still stands.
