In a recent interview[1], in response to a question about how low unemployment rates undermine her message of the working class falling behind, she said the following: > I think the numbers you just talked about is part of the problem. Because we look at these figures and say, "Unemployment is low. Everything is fine." Well unemployment is low because everyone has two jobs. Unemployment is low because people are working 60, 70, 80 hours a week and can barely feed their kids. This was so incorrect that Politifact rated it "pants on fire".[2] AOC also doesn't seem to have an understanding of basic historical facts.
