You need a permit for a public assembly for most places in the USA. Granted there are a lot of differences between the two countries, but this could happen here.
- lotsofpulp 8y agoYou need a permit for assembly in public in the USA because it could cause traffic or other congestion issues that can create hazardous conditions, and need to be planned around. I'm sure this reasoning has been abused to prevent freedom of speech, but I don't see how it could be used online.
