Me, I dream of a monorepo covering the whole world. Give me a single hash, and let me know the state of things as they are, reaching from the toolchain used to compile the bootloader to the state of the database, which has just dropped a row and therefore generated a new commit, forever secure, an immutable history. I accept the infeasibility of my dream. But I'd like my repo to cover as much as my tooling realistically allows.
