Making cities more livable is not sustainable? I don’t even know what this means. Cities are the most efficient way of sustaining populations. Making them better at that is only a net good.
- chiefalchemist 8y agoRead the article. Aside from the arc of the idea, be sure to note that Chicago is built in a swamp; and that more and more rain is more than the tunnel system can bear. Your statement might be true. However, it's not so much so for Chicago (which is obvious when reading the article).
