Found this amusing. Are node devs so used to async that disclaimers like this are necessary?
- kevinburke 8y agoyes, Node is single threaded so any one thread that blocks the event loop for a significant amount of time becomes a significant performance bottleneck. Generally functions like bcrypt require an asynchronous API.
