Given he was trying to predict 20 years into the future this is an amazingly good forecast compared to most other "in 20 years" lists. By my reading about half his projections are on target and surprisingly few are completely absurd. His biggest area of concentrated failure was probably around VR/AR/Haptics, likely a result of writing the list during the first irrational exuberance period around VR and VRML.
