The old SAT correlated more with standard iq tests and can be used for admission into MENSA from what I remember.
- ineedasername 8y agoThe old SAT has a statistically significant correlation, but if memory serves (it might not, it's been a while) the correlation wasn't great, it has something like an r-squared value of 0.4 to 0.5, so a majority of the variance in outcomes was not explained by differing performance on the tests.
