- Svip 8y agoI did read the text. It's humorous. But the question itself is no less important. And considering what happened with Torvalds' position this year, one might think it is a follow up to that question. So I think adding '(2000)' would definitely be helpful, if not just accurate.

- TimTheTinker 8y agoOP means appending ` (2000)` to the title as a year-published annotation, to disambiguate from current events. This is commonly done on HN.
