Thanks for calling me out on that. I've got several assumptions packed in there about what the user is trying to do (validating the market, smoke testing, etc). I'm going to go back and rewrite that opening. It should at least be something like "first step on the long march to product launch." And that is assuming that you are going the Lean Startup, 30x500 et. al. way.
