From what I’ve read, iron gall inks are only suitable for use with gold nibs. They will rapidly corrode steel nibs.

- hetman 8y agoYes, I was also wondering if there are any other nibs besides gold that can survive this ink. Not sure if I'm ready to shell out that much for a fountain pen.
