I and l (capital i and lowercase ell) look the same or nearly the same at normal sizes. So I'll stick with Source Sans Pro or Noto Sans.

  First, this isn't designed as a programming font. It's designed as a UI font. Second, they have a toggle for that, it's on the linked page.
