"I’m proud of the progress we’ve made" somehow became "'proud' of how Facebook handled its scandals this year".
I wonder if journalists have any self awareness when they criticize facebook.
- nemild 8y agoThe irony is that the current headline will perform better when shared on Facebook than a fully accurate headline. Facebook sets the incentives for every media producer today.
- beaconstudios 8y agoclickbait doesn't only work because of facebook. Headlines that twist the truth to sound more compelling than the story actually is are not a recent invention.
