They are effectively taxed through taxes on gas though, aren't they?

- adrianN 8y agoWe should tax things to appropriately account for the external costs. Big cars not only consume more fuel, the external costs of which are not reflected by current fuel taxes, they also consume a lot more space on the road. They're also more dangerous to other people, especially pedestrians and cyclists.
