I lived in the Bay Area for 5 years as well. I live in Europe now. Some of what is said in this blog post is a bit harsh. But overall I agree with it. Personally, the more I was there the less I enjoyed it. Probably because over time I started to see all the flaws. Though, there are things that I miss. For one the openess of Americans. It's just so easy to make friends there. And the other is all the yummy fast food like In n Out or Chic Fila. Finally, I enjoy the natural landscape of the US much more.
