I built a media pc with a 2tb drive for continuously uploading to backblaze, google photos, and an attached 2tb usb drive (it’s also a Plex server, which comes in handy for viewing the videos). I have google photos on my phones but mainly I periodically pull them off the phones and move them to the media pc, along with photos from my dslr. Since my wife and I both have our own desktops it made sense to build the media pc to have a central place for photos and videos.
