The book's good reputation makes it unlikely that there is only 4-pages of meat for this to be an accurate summary.
- gruseom 16y agoThe book is worth reading, but half of it is historical data about disk drives. Edit: I think it's a bit overrated, actually. Had it been a quarter of its size and stripped of its pretentiousness, it actually might be the classic everyone says it is. That being said, its core insight is an important and good one, so you kind of have to read it anyway.
