This is true at the machine and network level, however once you overlay a Kubernetes cluster over those constructs you create a new failure domain.

- ec109685 8y agoRight, but you have to be able to survive a region going down, so while K8s might increase the chance marginally that your region will go down, you need to be able to handle that eventuality anyway.
