Yeah, in this case it refers to people begging for the government to step in and make the bad people hurt until the problem goes away.
- anigbrowl 8y agoIf people perceive a problem is getting worse, what else so you suggest? People expect government to step in because they wish it to function as the conduit of the public interest, however inefficient. The market is clearly not doing a good job of regulating itself, so what other proposals should people consider?
