If you have done all these within past 3-4 years then I’d say your educational institute has failed you. Today’s C++ programmers should be very familiar with Modern C++. Any new C++ projects should most definitely be using C++11 or newer. RAII is one of the most fundamental concept that C++ students should be intimately familiar and proficient with. Const correctness is also one of the fundamental tools that I would not live without. You should write to your professor with comments here.
- dgzl 8y agoI graduated 3 years ago, so that's close to right. I imagine my professors would say that the comment posters are out of touch with the contemporary University environment. And then the comment posters might say that the University is out of touch with contemporary industry needs from graduates. And I'd say you're both right, but here we are. I graduated from one of the better engineering schools in my West-coast state.
