The mega nations are an example of the end of the traditional nation state.
- badrabbit 8y agoThey're empires. They're end of nations in as much as empires were. Even if a country ends,a nation persists (look at Jewish and Roma people as an example). A nation ends if the people intermix ad intermarry with others.
- BuckRogers 8y agoI don't really want to engage in a discussion on empire vs nation vs country vs state, especially when tinging concepts with race, but I'm not sure your example holds up for either the Jewish[0] or Roma peoples.
