- dajohnson89 8y agoCensus data, which might form a part of the data used for this article, typically includes a proper superset of the city limit. e.g., for NYC: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_metropolitan_area#Metropolitan_Statistical_Area https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_metropolitan_area#Met...
