Its not fair to generalize,it was largely local cops that wanted craigslist shut,most of it was out of fed jurisdiction. The FBI has gone as far as letting go an accused pedophile to avoid disclosing a 0 day exploit. Sacha should have involved local cops,local prosecutors have a lot more to lose by not pursuing this. Part of me thinks maybe they just reduce it all to numbers and stats without considering how terrible and shocking crimes are. IMO I'd prefer if this sort of crime had a higher priority than terrorism and most "national security" investigations.
