- chc 16y agoI think "She brought this on herself" is pretty close to "She was asking for it." And most of the facts in the comment go not toward the severity of the crime she was convicted of nor necessity of such a severe response, but merely toward showing that her behavior was provocative and that she failed to take many precautions.
