    Things that are widely recognized as "good". Who could say no to that for the sake of minimal change? Also, this doesn't affect life in a way that dating or the hassle of having to carry cash with you to buy bread do. Of course Germany's a leader in a lot of things. But Germans do have a tendency to be cautious and sceptical about innovations that would impose a change to their (everyday) life.
