Yes, the UI is complete garbage.
Re: record transfer, I recently found that there is a way to create an encrypted file from the patient’s chart that can be emailed , put on a flash drive, whatever. I’m planning to give it a try soon, but in the meantime, my clinic still uses the prehistoric method you describe.
