Im still wondering why Quora is allowed in google results. They're like the new expertsexchange. Plus it completely baffles me that anyone would use it for a topic that has a stack exchange.
- GCA10 8y agoOlder Quora has excellent answers on NASA topics (thanks Robert Frost) and linguistics and police procedure, as well as many other niche topics. Google is right to recognize these standouts. Not sure about the rest.
- theossuary 8y agoMore than anything I want a search engine I can blacklist domains in.
- abraae 8y agoYep, and a quick way to search with/without blacklisted sites included. I'd pay for that.

- SparkleBunny 8y agohttps://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/personal-blocklist/ https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/personal-bloc... For me, it's "Pinterest, what's that?"
- grecy 8y agoJust putting "-quora.com" (no quotes) on the end of a search seems to do it just fine.. you could have a long list of them you copy/paste in every time, or I imagine you could write a grease monkey script to do it for you automatically every time you click "search"
- artwr 8y agoOr -site:quora.com if you are OK with pages with links to quora but you just do not want a result from that domain.
