I know of this industry, in the hardware side, that if someone "has a way" to get a device certified to selling in a country, that someone is sitting on a lot of money. It's ridiculous. The laws made to protect user's from low quality products became a corruption-bureacracy user's money exploiting shady horrible industry. Not to mention the ethics on the Patents related side of the medical tech.
