What does that mean in this context?
- ALittleLight 8y agoIt means that the corrupt police who were willing to kidnap his daughter on orders from bad people were also willing to release her in exchange for money from the victim's family. At least, that's how I read it.
- balfirevic 8y agoThanks, that makes sense. For a moment it sounded to me like it says both parties in this interaction were corrupt, but that doesn't make sense.
