They are rerouting a highway(A2) to dig new lignite mines..
- foepys 8y agoIn North-Rhine Westfalia they do this more or less regularly with the A61 and A44 for Garzweiler II. Only this year they closed down the A61 after rebuilding the A44 to mine more coal after they demolished it a few years before. In 2035 they will rebuild the A61 again. They also relocated entire towns.
