I'd rather see that money go towards paid training for workers like the coal miners in the article, and investment into the renewables industry they would be going into.
- matt4077 8y agoThat’s actually what happened. The long timeline also allowed them to adapt: everyone trained in mines in the last two decades earned an education that’s transferable to work outside the mines.
