- executesorder66 8y agoI never understood the incentive of OEMs going with some proprietary crap instead of using coreboot or something like that.
- ndnxhs 8y agoHardware is about 10 years behind the rest of the software world and hasn't discovered the benefit of open source yet. I have talked to some firmware devs and the idea of open source is totally alien to them.
