Try a mokapot. Much lower capital cost and just as resource light. Not so much crema though I have to admit.

- c0nsumer 8y agoI use an Aeropress daily and have a Moka. The biggest downsides to the Moka are time to heat up (on my gas stove), and pretty much needing to wait for it to cool down before cleaning it. It might be a little faster with an electric stove, but the cleaning would still be a big hassle. I prefer to clean up my coffee making stuff in the morning after making coffee, before heading out the door for work.
