- tptacek 8y agoThat's not an answer to the question I just asked. Can you hazard a guess? 2010-2017 deaths from acute nicotine toxicity. How many do you think there were?
- metaphor 8y agoIn complete agreement with your position, but I'll be damned if the suspense in this dialog isn't maddening. Privy us with enlightenment and citation already, please.
- tptacek 8y agoI'm asking because I don't know. It's probably pretty obvious that I think the number is pretty low, maybe even lower than the caffeine number (people have died taking too many no-doz pills; can you nicotine patch yourself to death without making yourself look like a mummy?)
- metaphor 8y agoFair enough. Genuinely thought you had access to a database of reported ICD-10-CM codes that you could query for T65.2[1] instances. [1] https://icd.codes/icd10cm/T652 https://icd.codes/icd10cm/T652
