I wouldn't call that the left, but just that capitalist have found that they can profit more by sharing the values most people in their market share. Most Americans, for instance, are much more progressive on social issues. It's just faux-activism, which doesn't address the actual system of oppression marginalized groups face. Extreme leftism is when workers control the means of production and run companies democratically.
