Good points, although I'm pretty sure the editor, after determining that Monica was not a threat, was writing in this way simply to stick it to her for her own amusement.
- eof 16y agoI did not get that impression; and that would make for a pretty petty editor. More likely a genuinely clueless person who has been in 'print' for a decade or two but is largely clueless to the interwebs.
- Dylanlacey 16y agoCluelessness does not preclude pettiness, and people get all sorts of nasty when they get caught doing something wrong.
- eof 16y agoWell yeah it was petty nonetheless, but jhamburger is suggesting that the editor here is essentially trolling the author and more than anything I was trying to say I didn't really think that was happening.
