This list makes me think about the biggest hypes, innovations that would be important but never fulfilled the hopes people placed on them (e.g.: expert systems, digital assistants, perhaps cryptocurrencies)
- aasasd 8y agoPretty sure digital assistants are on the rise right now. Afaik expert systems are used in medicine, and I suppose some chat bots qualify as them too, though I think people will try to drop manually programming the rules at some point. Since we're finally marching straight into a scifiey cyberpunkish future, I'm sure these two things will be around.
