I think it just reflects how hard it is to get attention these days.
I didn't mind it because it was fairly novel (mail we get to that address is usually either a feature request or a user complaint), and seemed legit.
But if tons of other groups start advertising their events this way, it could get tiring, fast.
- sabat 20y agoYou would get tired of VCs and Angels giving you opportunities to pitch? Blogga, PLEASE.
- dpapathanasiou 20y agoIt depends who those VCs and angels are; pitching to just any old investor is not a good idea.
