A very similar law/policy exists in Venice for the preservation of the history of that city. Do you consider that to be 'stealing from the future'?

- rayiner 8y agoVenice is an exception because of how much of the city’s economy comes from tourism. There is an economic benefit that accrues to all property owners by maintaining a consistent historic look. That said, Venice is gross.
