I think it's fair to say that this is less true in America, where we have essentially no social safety net.
- pasta 8y agoTrue. That's also why the USA is now a third world country. And I really feel sorry for the author. But my comment was more about the boots story.
- chrisco255 8y agoWe also have a HUGE, far more diverse, far more spread out population that's an order of magnitude larger than the Netherlands.
