I got this as a comment on my blog. Is this the beginning of startup spam?

  I think it just reflects how hard it is to get attention these days. I didn't mind it because it was fairly novel (mail we get to that address is usually either a feature request or a user complaint), and seemed legit. But if tons of other groups start advertising their events this way, it could get tiring, fast.

    You would get tired of VCs and Angels giving you opportunities to pitch? Blogga, PLEASE.

      It depends who those VCs and angels are; pitching to just any old investor is not a good idea.
