Whenever I use a neti pot, I use distilled water and heat it for a brief time in the microwave, adding additional room temp distilled afterward if it comes out too hot.
- sokoloff 8y agoExactly this. Putting it in the bottle and microwaving for 38 seconds (experimentally determined, your <microwave> may vary) makes it a nice, comfortable temperature for use.
