Ask HN: What gives you confidence in what you currently working on?

I feel very good about the latest version of my 'lightbulb'. I have been at this since 2009 when this idea just hit me. I've seen people try and fail at this market, no one has moved the market leader. That day is coming soon though, it's just a matter of months now.
