It does not make much sense to compair technology/startup cities and totally leave out the East Coast.
- techiferous 16y agoCambridge, Mass is definitely a nerd mecca. There's a lot of technology and startup action over here. And it's a wonderful city to live in (very walkable, nice architecture, low crime, clean, diverse).
- jeffclark 16y ago...and full of damn hipsters, let's be honest. Great place to drink or work until you head back across the river to sleep :)
- CharlesPal 16y agoI totally agree... Especially impressive when you consider the size of Cambridge (~7 sq mi) VS the size of an area like Silicon Valley (~450 sq mi). That's a pretty amazing amount of nerd density.
- davidwparker 16y agoI think that he was just comparing places he's actually lived and worked- which IMO is nice because then I don't feel like he's making stuff up.
- CharlesPal 16y agoVery true, I would like to see the same comparison by someone who has lived and worked on both the East and West Coast.
