This forces you to allocate it on the heap... The C init function didn't require this.
- kllrnohj 8y agoHave it return by value in an optional then if that's what you want. You're not forced to do it on the heap. Or if for some reason you need to be able to pick you can do the whole templated allocator song & dance.
