I have read about 1 500-600 page book ever two weeks for the last 4 years, almost 100% audio books. I swear by audio books, having listened to even quite difficult and dense tomes. The catch is you can't listen to math and comp sci books. I highly recommend the Teaching Company Lectures on any historical topic, but esp. the Italian Renaissance. The lecturer is really awesome.
