I tried Firefox when the Quantum update first came out (this is on Linux) and it was still slow despite all the fanfare, but now at v63 it is really usable for me and I'm gradually switching over. (Update: I realise v64 just came out but it's not available yet in my package manager, here's hoping for even greater performance!).
